New-patient appointments are typically scheduled for approximately two hours. That gives us time to review your history, evaluate your oral health, and talk through the findings with you.

You will meet directly with Dr. Henley. The evaluation includes a review of your dental and medical history, an oral health examination, and imaging when needed. Learn how we approach digital X-rays and 3D imaging.

We explain recommendations and appropriate alternatives so you can ask questions and make an informed decision. Bring a current medication list; if you complete forms at the office, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.

Before you visit
A few things you may be wondering.
Can I come here for routine dental care?
Yes. Our practice provides preventive care, examinations, and cleanings as well as cosmetic and restorative dentistry. You do not need a complex dental problem to become a patient. See our new-patient information or call to ask about current availability.
I am changing dentists. What about my records and X-rays?
Contact our team before your appointment to discuss transferring records from your previous office. When suitable previous images are available, we review them before deciding whether additional imaging is needed. Bring your medication list and tell us about recent dental or medical treatment.
What if I am nervous about the appointment?
Tell us when you schedule. We can discuss your concerns, explain the visit, and plan for breaks. You can also ask about Snapper, our dental therapy dog. Availability depends on scheduling and whether a visit with Snapper is appropriate and welcome. Please mention allergies or a preference not to be around dogs.
Can I ask for another opinion about veneers or crowns?
Yes. If you are uncertain about existing work or a proposed treatment plan, contact us to arrange an evaluation. We will need to examine your teeth and review relevant records before making recommendations. Ask our team about appointment length and fees when scheduling.
I have upcoming cancer treatment. What should I tell you?
